Abstract (Croatian)
Tema ovog rada je razrada koncepta male bespilotne letjelice na solarni pogon. Na početku rada dan je uvid u slične konstrukcije te pregled sustava i opreme solarne letjelice. Napisan je programski kod koji za ulazne parametre vrši procjenu mase, aerodinamičku analizu te energijsku analizu. Proračun se zasniva na iterativnoj metodi prema Noth-u. U prvoj iteraciji korišteni su podaci letjelice sličnih karakteristika u svrhu validacije programskog koda. U drugoj iteraciji uvedena je novija tehnologija veće učinkovitosti u području pretvorbe solarne energije s ciljem dobivanja veće ukupne solarne energije. Nadalje, izvršeno je dimenzioniranje trupa i repa. Trećom iteracijom utvrđena je konačna konfiguracija letjelice. Za takvu letjelicu provedeno je ispitivanje geografskog područja primjene kao i optimiranje visine leta. Izračunato je područje prekrivanja kamere u ovisnosti o visini leta. U zadnjem dijelu rada komentirani su rezultati dobiveni provedenom analizom.
Abstract
The theme of this thesis is a concept development of a small solar-powered unmanned aerial vehicle. At the beginning of the thesis an insight into similar structures was given as well as an overview of systems and equipment of solar-powered aircraft. A program code which, for input data, performs weight estimation, aerodynamic analysis and energy analysis was written. Weight estimation, aerodynamic analysis and energy analysis was conducted. The analyses are based on iterative method by Noth. For the first iteration the input data from aircraft with similar characteristics was used with the purpose of code validation. In the second iteration a new technology with higher efficiency in the field of solar energy conversion was used, with the goal of increasing the total solar energy achieved. Furthermore, the fuselage and tail section sizing was carried out. The final aircraft configuration was established in the third iteration. For such aircraft, a geographical area of operations was determined and optimization of flight altitude was conducted. The area of camera coverage in relation to flight altitude was calculated. In the last part of the thesis the results of analyses were commented.
