Abstract (Croatian)

Naplatak je nužan dio svakog automobilskog kotača. Ovisno o materijalu koji se koristi u proizvodnji naplataka, postoji nekoliko najčešćih vrsta naplataka koji su dostupni na suvremenom automobilskom tržištu. U ovom radu su opisani materijali koji se najviše koriste u proizvodnji naplataka te su detaljno opisani procesi proizvodnje naplataka. Dvije su najčešće izvedbe naplataka - čelični i oni napravljeni od laganih slitina, prvenstveno aluminijskih i magnezijskih. Čelični naplatak se prekriva sa „ratkapom“ odnosno pokrivalom naplatka koje se proizvodi injekcijskim prešanjem. Pokrivalo naplatka detaljno je opisano kao i njegov proces izrade. Eksperimentalni dio rada sastoji se od uspoređivanja aluminijskog naplatka i polimernog pokrivala naplatka. Provelo se ispitivanje Arhimedove gustoće uzorka te ispitivanje na erozijsko trošenje te abrazijsko trošenje uzoraka. Analizirala se mikrostruktura aluminijskog naplatka te se pokazao stvarni odnos korištenja aluminijskih i čeličnih naplataka na ulicama grada Zagreba.

Abstract

Rim is a necessary part of every car wheel. Depending on the material used in the production of wheels, there are several common types of wheels that are available in the modern automotive industry. This paper describes the materials that are mostly used in the production of wheels and the processes of production of wheel rims are detailed explained. There are two most common performance wheels - steel and those that are made of lightweight alloys, mainly aluminum and magnesium. Steel rim is covered with "hubcaps" which is produced by injection molding. Hubcap is described in detail as well as the process of its development. The experimental part of the work consists of comparing the aluminum rim and a polymeric hubcap. Archimedes density of a sample is tested and samples were tested on wear resistance of abrasion and erosion. Also the microstructure of an aluminum rim was analyzed and compared the use of aluminum and steel wheels in the streets of the city of Zagreb.
