Abstract (Croatian)

U teorijskom dijelu rada prikazana su osnovna svojstva aluminija, podjela legura aluminija te njihova primjena. Isto tako, opisana je korozijska otpornost aluminija u različitim korozijskim sredinama te metode zaštite od korozije, s posebnim naglaskom na zaštitu oksidnim prevlakama. Prikazani su osnovni postupci kemijske i elektrokemijske oksidacije sa pripadajućim parametrima obrade te glavnim karakteristikama oksidnih prevlaka nakon obrade te njihovim svojstvima i primjenom. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada koji je proveden u Laboratoriju za zaštitu materijala, Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje elektrokemijskom oksidacijom u sulfatnoj i oksalnoj kiselini, na uzorcima legure aluminija 5086 nanesena je oksidna prevlaka. Nakon provedene elektrokemijske oksidacije, uzorci su analizirani na skenirajućem elektronskom mikroskopu (SEM), te metodom kvazi –potenciostatske polarizacije (Tafelove ekstrapolacije) su određeni korozijski potencijal Ekor i brzina korozije vkor.

Abstract

In the theoretical part of this thesis the basic properties of aluminum, aluminum alloys division and their application are presented. The corrosion resistance of aluminum in various corrosive environments and methods of corrosion protection, with particular focus on the protection oxide coatings were described. It presents main basic methods for chemical and electrochemical oxidation and associated processing parameters and main characteristics of oxide coating after processing and their properties and application. In the experimental part of this thesis which was carried out in the Laboratory of materials protection, Faculty of mechanical engineering, oxide coatings was applied on aluminum alloy 5086 samples using electrochemical oxidation in sulfuric and oxalic acid. After the electrochemical oxidation, the samples were analyzed with Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and the method of quasi - potentiostatic polarization (Tafel extrapolation) to determine the corrosion potential Ekor and corrosion rate vkor.
