Abstract (Croatian)

U okviru ovog diplomskog rada prikazan je razvoj elementa ovjesa novog bolida FSB Racing Team-a za natjecanje Formula Student. Razvoj je popraćen kroz nekoliko faza, od definiranja samih zahtjeva na ovjes, koncipiranja ovjesa, analize kinematike, konstrukcijske razrade elementa ovjesa te analize opterećenja i naprezanja svih elementa. Na samom početku diplomskog rada prikazani su zahtjevi aktualnog FSAE pravilnika koji se odnose na konstrukciju ovjesa bolida i na dinamički dio natjecanja. Navedeni su zahtjevi koji se postavljaju na ovjes trkaćih vozila posebice ovjesa s dvostrukim poprečnim vodilicama (ramenima), izvedbom ovjesa koje se najčešće koristi za ovu kategoriju trkaćih vozila. Za odabranu konfiguraciju ovjesa izrađen je kinematički model ovjesa u programskom paketu za analizu kinematike ovjesa Lotus Suspension Analysis, analizirana je promjena karakterističnih veličina ovjesa, što je i prikazano odgovarajućim dijagramima. Na temelju analize kinematike, uz definirane zahtjeve, u konstrukcijskoj razradi ovjesa prikazana su pojedina konstrukcijska rješenja primijenjena na ovjesu prednjih i stražnjih kotača novog bolida. Paralelno uz konstrukcijsku razradu u odgovarajućim modulima istog programskog paketa Solidworks izvršena je i analiza kinematike, analizirani su uvjeti opterećenja svih bitnih elemenata ovjesa, naprezanje i pomaci te zamor materijala. Opterećenje je preuzeto iz rezultata simulacije dinamike bolida u programskom paketu CarSim i to za slučaj standardnih dinamičkih testova koji se provode i na samom natjecanju.

Abstract

Within this master thesis the development of the suspension elements of the new race car of the FSB Racing Team for FSAE competition is shown. The development is followed through several stages, from defining essential requirements on suspension, through designing suspension, kinematics analysis, design development of the elements of the suspension to the analyzing of loads and stresses of all suspension elements. The requirements of the current FSAE rule book, which are related to suspension design, the dynamic part of the competition and double wishbone suspension design which is most commonly used for this category of the race cars, are shown in the first part of the thesis. In the Lotus Suspension Analysis software, used for kinematic analysis, the kinematic model of the chosen suspension design was developed and changes of the kinematic characteristics of the suspension were analyzed, as shown on diagrams. Individual design solutions of the front and rear suspension of the race car are shown based on the analysis results with defined requirements. Following this, the kinematic model of the suspension design was developed using SolidWorks software, on which also were analyzed load conditions of the essential elements of the suspension, tension, displacements and fatigue. Acting loads on wheels, which are transferred on the suspension, are obtained from the simulations of standard FSAE dynamic procedures using CarSim software.
