Abstract (Croatian)
U radu je opisan utjecaj hrapavosti osnovnog materijala na kvalitetu prianjanja PACVD sloja kod tvrdih metala. U teoretskom dijelu predstavljeni su ukratko tvrdi metali, njihova povijest kao i postupci proizvodnje tvrdog metala te njihove vrste i svojstva. Također su navedene prednosti prevlačenja reznih alata od tvrdih metala, kao i utjecaj prevlačenja na njihova konačna svojstva. Potom su predstavljeni najčešće korišteni postupci prevlačenja tvrdih metala sa naglaskom na PACVD tehnologiju izrade prevlaka. Na uzorke od tvrdog metala (WC-Co) nanesene su TiN (titan nitrid) i gradijentne TiN-TiCN (titan karbonitrid) tvrde prevlake uz pomoć plazma potpomognutog kemijskog prevlačenja iz parne faze (PACVD). Također teoretskim dijelom su opisane metode karakterizacije prevlaka na tvrdim metalima pri čemu su uzeti u obzir tvrdoća, prionjivost i hrapavost prevlake. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada ispitivana je tvrdoća prevlake i supstrata na ultra mikro tvrdomjeru sukladno normi HRN EN ISO 14577. Uz tvrdoću provedena su ispitivanja prionjivosti prema normi VDI 3198 i hrapavosti prema HRN EN ISO 4287, HRN EN 4288 i HRN EN ISO 3274. Abstract
This paper describes the influence of the roughness of the base material on the quality of adhesion of PACVD layer in hard metals. In the theoretical part, hard metals, their history as well as methods of production and their types and properties are presented in short. Also, the benefits of coating cutting tools made of hard metal are mentioned, as well as the influence of the coating on their final properties. Then the most commonly used coating methods of hard metals are presented, with an emphasis on PACVD technology of coating. On samples of hard metal (WC-Co) was applied TiN (titanium nitride) and gradient TiN-TiCN (titanium carbonitride) hard coating, by means of plasma-assisted chemical coating from the vapor phase (PACVD). Also the theoretical part describes methods of characterization of coatings on hard metals in which hardness, adhesion and coating roughness are considered. In the experimental part of the paper, the hardness of the coating and the substrate were tested, with an ultra-micro hardness tester, in accordance to the HRN EN ISO 14577 norm. Along with hardness tests, adhesion tests were also carried out with accordance to VDI 3198, and roughness tests with accordance to HRN EN ISO 4287, HRN EN 4288 and HRN EN ISO 3274.
