Abstract (Croatian)

Tema ovog završnog rada je kontrolni proračun čvrstoće vertikalnog spremnika koji je opterećen unutarnjim statičkim tlakom. Opisana je zadana konstrukcija te je dan osvrt o teoretskoj podlozi po kojoj se provodi proračun savijanja tankostjenih ljuskastih konstrukcija. Proračun je proveden analitički te numerički pomoću programskog paketa ABAQUS koji se temelji na metodi konačnih elemenata. Numerička analiza je započeta ispitivanjem konvergencije za tri različita konačna elementa na jednostavnom primjeru. Odabrani su osnosimetrični pravokutni element, ljuskasti pravokutni element te jednodimenzijski element za analizu osnosimetričnih ljuski. Prije analize svaki je element opisan. Za svaki konačni element generirane su četiri mreže konačnih elemenata različite gustoće. Provedena je dodatna verifikacija za najprikladiniji na još jednom primjeru. Nakon toga provedena je analiza zadane konstrukcije na način da se posebno proračunao donji i gornji dio spremnika. Na kraju je izvršen kontrolni proračun na način da su se kritična naprezanja očitana na modelu u Abaqusu usporedila s dopuštenim naprezanjima.

Abstract

The subject of this final paper is strenght calculation of vertical tank subjected to inner static pressure. A short description of given structure is provided, as well a short review of theoretical basis by which flexion of thin-walled shell structures is calculated. The calculation was conducted analytically and numerically using software package called ABAQUS. ABAQUS is based on finite element method. Analysis was started by examining solution convergence for three different finite elements on a simple example. An axisymmetric quadrilateral element, a shell quadrilateral element and an axisymmetric shell element were selected for the analysis of axisymmetric shells. Before the analysis, the elements were described. For every finite element four meshes of different element density were created. An additional verification on a another simple example for the most appropriate element was done. The following analysis of the given structure was done by separately analysing the lower and the upper part of the tank. Finally, a strenght calculation was executed. It was done by comparing critical stress read in the Abaqus model with allowed stress.
