U današnje vrijeme povećanje efikasnosti i efektivnosti proizvodnje jedno je od najvećih globalnih problema. Cilj svake grupacije, organizacije ili poduzeća je vrlo jasan - uspjeti. Lean je prije svega filozofija, a tek onda alatnica moćnih alata. Kako bi se lean metode shvatile, a nakon toga i uspješno primijenile, krucijalno je u potpunosti ući u taj način razmišljanja. Treba uključit svakog pojedinca, slušati bazu, a kako bi se dostigao taj nivo razvitka, nužno je da poduzeća vode lean menadžeri. SMED, jedan je od najmoćnijih lean alata. SMED je sustav za smanjenje vremena izvršenja promjene opreme. Bit SMED sustava je pretvoriti što više koraka promjene opreme u eksterne, odnosno, one koji se mogu odvijati tijekom rada opreme te pojednostaviti i ubrzati preostale korake. Samo ime SMED je akronim engleskih riječi single minute exchange of die, u prijevodu smanjenje svih vremena promjene na jednoznamenkastu vremensku jedinicu (single digit). U ovom radu primjenio sam SMED metoda na procesu izmjene alata kod tokarilice u poduzeću Feroimpex. Implementaciju možemo smatrati uspješnom pošto smo vrijeme izmjene smanjili za 38,6%.

Abstract

In these days increasing efficiency and productivity is crucial in getting ahead of competitors. Goal of every company or organisation is to succeed. Lean is primary a philosophy and after that set of powerful tools. To understand lean methods, one first needs to understand its way of thinking. Every individual, from bottom to top, must be included in lean cycle, for it to be successful. For this to happen, new ere of lean managers has to happen. SMED is one of the most powerful lean tools. It is a system for dramatically reducing the time it takes to complete equipment changeovers. The essence of the SMED system is to convert as many changeover steps as possible to “external” (performed while the equipment is running), and to simplify and streamline the remaining steps. The name Single-Minute Exchange of Dies comes from the goal of reducing changeover times to the “single” digits (i.e. less than 10 minutes). In this seminar, I implemented SMED in company called Feroimpex. SMED was applied to tool changeover in the lathe machine. The operation was successful since we had reduced changeover time for 38,6%.
