Abstract (Croatian)

Ideja ovog rada bila je olakšati studentima i inženjerima trodimenzijski prikaz najkompleksnijeg dijela broda, a to je brodski vijak. Dana je općenita podjela brodskih propulzora, značajke brodskih vijaka s konstantnim usponom i geometrija brodskog vijka Wageningen B serije. U izradi programskog koda za trodimenzijski prikaz brodskog vijka korištena je poznata geometrija Wageningen B serije, NURBS krivulje i programski paket Rhinoceros 5, točnije RhinoScript koji koristi Microsoft-ov Visual Basic for Applications programski jezik. U radu su priložene korisničke upute kako bi se olakšalo korištenje programskog koda. Upotrebom programskog koda moguće je napraviti dvodimenzijski nacrt kao i trodimenzijski plošni prikaz brodskog vijka. Programski kod je napravljen tako da je, uz poznavanje geometrije, moguće prikazati i brodski vijak bilo koje druge serije.

Abstract

The main idea of this paper was to facilitate three dimensional visualization of the ship's most complex part, marine propeller for students and engineers. General classification of marine propulsors, the characteristics of constant pitch propellers and the geometry of Wageningen B series propellers are given. The well known Wageningen B series geometry, NURBS curves and Rhinoceros 5 programme package, more precisely RhinoScript which uses Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications programming language, were used to create source code for three dimensional visualization of marine propeller. User's manual is attached within the paper to simplify the use of the source code. By using the source code it is possible to create two dimensional drawing as well as the three dimensional surface visualization. The source code was created in order to be able to present marine propeller of any other series with known geometry.
