Abstract (Croatian)

Posljednjih godina zabilježen je izrazit rast u primjeni aditivnih tehnologija u svim granama industrije, a posebno i u osobnoj primjeni. Tome je pridonijela pojava niskobudžetnih 3D pisača koji rade na principu taložnog očvršćivanja (Eng. Fused Deposition Modelling, FDM). Većina konstrukcijskih rješenja 3D pisača je temeljena na serijskim kinematskim strukturama i prigonima izvedenim koračnim motorima. Takvom se konstrukcijom ostvaruje jednostavno, cjelovito i prihvatljivo rješenje, ali postoje ograničenja u brzini nanošenja slojeva. U ovom radu opisane su prednosti primjene aditivnih tehnologija te je dat pregled konstrukcijskih izvedbi postojećih 3D pisača s naglaskom na kinematiku. Izvršena je prilagodba idejnog rješenja postojećeg manipulatora s paralelnom strukturom na način da se isti može primijeniti kao 3D pisač u postupku taložnog očvršćivanja. Konstruirani su potrebni dodatni elementi posmičnih prigona, kao i glave za nanošenje. Na kraju su izrađeni tehnološki programi svih pozicija prototipa u CAD/CAE/CAM sustavu CATIA V5.

Abstract

n recent years, there has been a significant increase in the application of additive manufacturing in all industries, as well as in the personal application. This is due to an increase of low-cost 3D printers which are available on the market. Such 3D printers are based on the principle of fused deposition modelling. Majority of such machines are designed using serial kinematic structures and stepper motors. Even though such construction provides simple, comprehensive and acceptable solution, there are limitations in terms of printing speed. This study describes common approaches in FDM based 3D printers design, emphasizing the advantages and disadvantages in different kinematic structures. The second part of this work focuses on the retrofit and conversion of existing manipulator design with parallel kinematics into a FDM based 3D printer with multiple extruder heads. Required additional elements have been designed and drives and belts have been selected. On the end, technological programs of all prototype positions are made in CAD/CAE/CAM system CATIA V5.
