Abstract (Croatian)

Goriva i maziva koja se upotrebljavaju u avijaciji zahtijevaju posebne standarde kvalitete i posebne karakteristike kako bi učinkovito zadovoljili potrebe modernih letjelica u pogledu postojanosti i učinkovite iskoristivosti, ali i kako bi kvalitetno odgovorila na izazove specifičnih atmosferskih i fizikalnih okolnosti vezanih za zračni promet. U ovome radu predstavljene su najčešće korištene vrste goriva i maziva, pri čemu se proučavaju njihove karakteristike te prednosti koje imaju pred drugim vrstama goriva i maziva kao i njihovu primjenu ovisno o modelima motora letjelica. Također se u sklopu rada prikazuje utjecaj na okoliš goriva i maziva u avijaciji te samim time utjecaj na okoliš općenito avijacije, a proučavaju se i troškovi održavanja zrakoplova koji su posebno važni stoga što se nastoji što manjim intervencijama u sami zrakoplov smanjiti trošak održavanja i samim time se pojavljuje potreba za dugotrajno postojanim mazivima.

Abstract

Aviation fuels and lubricants that require to meet special standards of quality and special features to effectively fulfil the needs of modern aircrafts in terms of stability and efficient utilization, but also to well respond on the challenges of specific atmospheric and physical conditions related to air transport. This study presents the most commonly used types of fuels and lubricants, where the focus is pointed to their characteristics and advantages over other types of fuels and lubricants as well as their application depending on the model of engine. Study also examines environmental impact of fuels and lubricants in aviation and therefore the impact on the environment in general aviation, as well as question of maintenance costs of aircraft which is particularly important because modern companies are seeking the lowest possible interventions in their own aircraft to reduce the cost of maintenance and thus there is a need for long-term stable lubricants.
