Abstract (Croatian)

U ovom diplomskom radu, opisani su PVD (eng. Physical Vapour Deposition), CVD (eng. Chemical Vapour Deposition) te PACVD (eng. Plasma Assisted Chemical Vapour Deposition) postupci prevlačenja, te njihove prednosti, nedostaci i područja primjene. Postupci PVD i PACVD su i primijenjeni u radu. Prikazane su, kao i opisane, TiN, TiCN, te TiAlSiN prevlake, koje su se nanosile na alatni čelik za topli rad, X37CrMoV5-1, te na martenzitni nehrđajući čelik, X22CrMoV12-1. Nadalje, opisana je i provedena karakterizacija prevlaka na čelicima i to pomoću GDOES analize, EDS analize i pomoću skenirajućeg elektronskog mikroskopa. Utiskivanjem indentora prema normi VDI 3198 ispitana je prionjivost prevlake, dok je primjenom kalotesta i skenirajućeg elektronskog mikroskopa određena debljina prevlaka na pojedinim uzorcima. U konačnici opisana su i primijenjena elektrokemijska korozijska ispitivanja istosmjernom strujom te izmjeničnom strujom.

Abstract

In this master thesis, coating processes of Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD), Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD), and Plasma Assisted Chemical Vapour Deposition (PACVD) were described with the focus on advantages, disadvantages, and application areas. The PVD and PACVD procedures were applied in the practical part of the thesis. Description of TiN, TiCN and TiAlSiN coatings was also done. These coatings have been applied to the hot-working tool steel X37CrMoV5-1, and to the martensitic stainless steel X22CrMoV12-1. Furthermore, the characterization of steel coatings has been described and carried out using GDOES analysis, EDS analysis and scanning electron microscope. Coating adhesion was tested using indentation test according to VDI 3198 norm, while the calo test and scanning electron microscopy were used to determine the coating thickness of individual samples. Finally, electrochemical corrosion tests with direct and alternating current were also described and applied.
