Abstract (Croatian)

U ovom radu provedena je optimizacija konstrukcije glavnog rebra tankera za prijevoz nafte. Ona obuhvaća definiranje projektnog problema i postupak provođenja višeciljne optimizacije konstrukcije glavnog rebra tankera s ciljem minimizacije mase i maksimizacije graničnog momenta. Konstrukcija glavnog rebra mora zadovoljiti važeće zahtjeve propisane harmoniziranim zajedničkim pravilima za projektiranje konstrukcije brodova za prijevoz rasutog tereta i tankera za prijevoz nafte (IACS CRS BC & OT). Definirane su topološke, geometrijske i dimenzijske varijable konstrukcije glavnog rebra nakon čega se pristupilo izradi modela u programu MARS2000, v2.9g (Bureau Veritas). Ukupno je izrađeno 27 modela različitih topološko/ geometrijskih varijanti. Za provedbu višeciljne optimizacije bilo je potrebno napraviti pripremu optimizacijskog modela (ciljevi, varijable i ograničenja) u programu DeMak koji je povezan s programom MARS2000 putem ulazno-izlaznih datoteka. Višeciljnom optimizacijom generirana je Pareto fronta te je izvršena analiza dobivenih rezultata.

Abstract

Through this thesis structural optimization of midship section of an oil tanker has been performed. The overall process includes the definition of the project’s problem, as well as the procedure of performing a multi-objective optimization method of constructing the main oil tanker’s web frame with the goal of minimizing weight and maximizing ultimate strength. The construction of the main web frame must fulfill applicable requirements prescribed by the harmonized requirements found in the Common Structural Rules for Bulk Carriers and Oil Tankers (IACS CRS BS & OT). Furthermore, topological, geometrical and dimensional structural variables of constructing the main web frame were defined, after which a model was created with the help of the MARS2000 c2.9g (Bureau Veritas) programe. In total, in the thesis, there are twenty seven models of distinct topological – geometrical variables. In regard to the multi-objective optimization method, it was necessary to create preparations of the optimization model (objectives, variables and strengths) with the help of the DeMak programe, associated with the MARS2000 programe through the input – output of files. By using the multi-objective optimization method, a Pareto front was generated and an analysis of achieved results was conducted.
