Abstract (Croatian)
Značaj prevlaka u novije doba vrlo je velik, posebno u uvijetima rada raznih alata kojima produžuju životni vijek i osiguravaju kvalitetnije, dimenzijske stabilnije proizvode.
Abstract
Importance of coatings in recent times is very big, especially in the conditions of work of various toolsets whom they extend the life time and reassure more effective, dimension stable products. In this final thesis two types of coatings which were deposited on hot-work tool steel X37CrMoV5-1 are compared. Exploatative conditions of work of PVD TiNAlSiN and PACVD TiN coatings and requirements which material of coating must carry out are explained. In addition, surface wear mechanisms are described and analyzed as well as factors with whom the negative surface wear mechanisms are possible to mitigate. In experimental part of thesis, measurement of the debth of coating, nanohardness, coefficient of kinetic friction and factor of wear are conducted. It appears from the examinations made that PVD TiNAlSiN coating is more resistant to adhesive wear, while PACVD TiN coat has considerably lower coefficient of friction.
