Abstract (Croatian)

U sklopu teoretskog dijela definirat će se kompozitni materijali i njihova svojstva s naglaskom na kompozite s metalnom matricom. Ovdje se radi o primjeni kod biomedicinskih implantata gdje težište ima titan i njegova svojstva te djelomično i magnezij. Što se tiče postupaka dobivanja tih kompozita, posebna pažnja će biti posvećena postupku dobivanja metalurgijom praha. U eksperimentalnom dijelu pojasnit će se tijek eksperimenta te oprema korištena za ispitivanje. Uporabom triju metoda za elektrokemijsko ispitivanje uzorka programski softver izbacuje grafove koji opisuju elektrokemijsko ponašanje materijala. Analizom rezultata dolazi se do osnovnih parametara ispitivanja te samim time i zaključaka o korozijskom ponašanju titan-magnezij kompozita.

Abstract

Within the framework of a theoretical part of the study, composite materials and their properties will be defined with emphasis on metal matrix composites. In this situation, application is intended for biomedicine implants where titanium and its properties dominate, as well as magnesium. Between the production processes, the powder metallurgy process will be elaborated in the most part. In the experimental part, sequence of the examination will be detailed and also the equipment needed. Using the three methods for electrochemical evaluation, software will yield the plots which describe electrochemical behaviour of the examined material. Analysis of the results will help in calculating the basic parameters of the examination and make conclusions about the corrosion-resistance of the titanium-magnesium composite.
