Abstract (Croatian)

Posljedice požara u podzemnim garažama mogu biti ogromne, ne samo zbog materijalne štete, već zbog opasnosti za ljudske živote. Zbog toga se u današnje vrijeme postavljaju posebni zahtjevi prilikom projektiranja na sustave kontrole i izvlačenje dima. Prilikom izbijanja požara u garaži, nastaje velika količina dimnih plinova visoke temperature, te zbog smanjene visine garaže, otežavaju regulaciju dima. Podzemne garaže moraju imati ventilaciju da bi osiguralo izvlačenje produkata izgaranja motora vozila i da bi se u slučaju požara izvukao dim. U današnje vrijeme sve više prostora u projektiranju uzimaju potisni ventilatori umjesto sustava cjevovoda. Cilj ovog rada je napraviti numeričku simluaciju strujanja fluida u garaži s potisnim ventilatorima. Koristeći se metodama računalne dinamike fluida izračunat će se i prikazati polje brzine kao glavna smjernica za postavljanje komponenata ventilacije, te temperaturno polje prema propisanoj visini. Proračun je izvršen u programskom paketu PyroSim.

Abstract

Underground car parks are places where fire can, not only do material damage, but take human lives. Design of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Condtitioning) and smoke regulation systems needs to satisfy fire safety conditions. When a fire breaks out in underground car park, a large amount of flue gases is generated at high temperature. Because of reduced height , flue gases control and extraction is somewhat difficult. Underground car parks need to have means of ventilation, that will provide exhaust of combustion products and flue gasses in case of fire. Jet fans are getting more attention in HVAC design instead of tradional ductwork system. Objective of this paper is to make a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis of underground car park with jet fans. Utilising methods of computational fluid dynamics flow and temperature field will be calculated and visualized. CFD simulations were carried out using software PyroSim which uses freeware code (the Fire Dynamics Simulator).
