Abstract (Croatian)

U ovom radu dan je kratki pregled razvoja kompozitnih materijala s naglaskom na polimerne kompozitne materijale. Nadalje, definiran je pojam kompozitne tvorevine i dan je pregled nekih od najvažnijih kriterija podjele kompozita. Naglasak je stavljen na vlaknima ojačane polimerne kompozite, stoga su pobliže opisani materijali koji se primjenjuju pri njihovoj izradi. Dan je pregled materijala matrica, duromernih i plastomernih, te materijala za izradu ojačavala. Pobliže je opisan postupak podtlačnog ulijevanja s time da je ukazano na varijabilnosti koje ovaj postupak pruža. Također naglašeno je kako još uvijek nedostaju modeli i računalne simulacije koje bi obuhvatile sve te moguće varijacije postupka. Teoretski dio rada zaokružen je opisom postupaka završne obrade kalupljenih kompozitnih tvorevina. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada izrađena je kompozitna ploča postupkom podtlačnog ulijevanja primjenjujući teoretska znanja opisana u prethodnim poglavljima. Greške koje su se pojavile na gotovom proizvodu popisane su i opisane kako bi se kod ponavljanja postupka mogle izbjeći.

Abstract

This paper gives a brief overview of the development of composite materials with an emphasis on polymer composite materials. Furthermore, the concept of composite structure is defined and an overview of some of the most important composite division criteria is given. The emphasis is placed on fibre reinforced polymer composites, hence the materials used in their manufacture are more closely described. An overview of thermosetting and thermoplastic matrices and reinforcement materials is given. The resin infusion process is described in more detail with reference to its variability. It also emphasizes that models and computer simulations are still missing, encompassing all possible variations of the process. The theoretical part of the paper is rounded by a description of the finishing process of moulded composite structures. In the experimental part of the paper, the composite plate was made by the resin infusion process using the theoretical knowledge described in the previous chapters. The errors that appeared on the finished part were listed and described so that they could be avoided in the repetition of the process.
