Abstract (Croatian)

Diplomski rad sastoji se od teorijskog i eksperimentalnog dijela. U teorijskom dijelu opisana su svojstva korozijske otpornosti nehrđajućih čelika te utjecaj površinskih promjena uslijed unosa topline na njihovu postojanost. Nadalje, navedeni su najvažniji lokalni korozijski procesi karakteristični za ove materijale, njihovi utjecajni čimbenici te mogućnosti sprječavanja, kao i uobičajene metode ispitivanja korozije. Također je napravljen poseban osvrt na primjenu ovih čelika u prehrambenoj industriji. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provedena su laboratorijska ispitivanja utjecaja toplinskih obojenja te naknadnih kemijskih obrada površine austenitnih nehrđajućih čelika AISI 304 i AISI 316Ti, koji su bili izloženi djelovanju topline, na njihovu pasivnost te na pojavu elucije metalnih iona u alkoholnom mediju viski-gazirana voda. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata, definiran je optimalan postupak naknadne kemijske obrade ispitivanih čelika.

Abstract

This thesis consists of a theoretical and experimental part. The theoretical part describes the properties of corrosion resistance of stainless steels and the effect of surface changes due to heat input on their resistance. Furthermore, the most important localized corrosion processes characteristic of these materials, their influential factors and prevention options, as well as common corrosion test methods are presented. Also, special attention has been paid to the application of these steels in the food industry. In the experimental part, laboratory tests on the impact of heat tints and subsequent chemical surface treatments of austenitic stainless steels AISI 304 and AISI 316Ti, that have been exposed to the heat effect, on their passivity and on the elution of metal ions in the alcoholic medium of whiskey-carbonated water were carried out. Based on the obtained results, the optimal method of subsequent chemical treatment of the tested steels is defined.
