Abstract (Croatian)

Projektiranje i gradnja konstrukcije broda za prijevoz nafte danas se provodi prema preskriptivnim harmoniziranim zajedničkim pravilima za projektiranje konstrukcije brodova za prijevoz rasutog tereta i tankera za prijevoz nafte (IACS CSR (BC & OT)). Za određivanje dimenzija konstrukcije potrebno je prvo provesti dimenzioniranje prema preskriptivnim pravilima te u idućem. U ovom radu je prema harmoniziranim pravilima napravljen matematički model za određivanje minimalnih dimenzija konstrukcije naborane pregrade. Uz pomoć rješavača unutar Excel programskog paketa napravljena je optimizacija s ciljem minimizacije mase i cijene izrade pregrade. Analiza čvrstoće optimalne geometrije naborane pregrade provedena je metodom konačnih elemenata primjenom programskog paketa MAESTRO.

Abstract

Today the design and construction of oil tankers is carried out according to the Common Structural Rules for Bulk Carriers and Oil Tankers (CSR BC & OT). To determine the structural dimension, in addition to prescriptive rules, it is necessary to conduct the structural analysis using finite element method (FEM). In this master’s thesis, a mathematical model for the determination of the minimum dimensions of corrugated bulkhead is made according to the harmonized rules. With the help of solver within the Excel program package, optimization has been made to minimize the mass of the bulkhead and to minimize the cost production of the bulkhead. The analysis of the strength of the optimum geometry of the corrugated bulkhead was performed by the finite element method using the MAESTRO program package.
