Abstract (Croatian)

U sklopu diplomskog rada bilo je potrebno projektirati glavne dijelove postrojenja za kontinuiranu rektifikaciju etanola iz smjese etanol-voda. Provedena je analiza potrošnje topline u ovisnosti o udjelu etanola u džibri za različite udjele etanola u proizvodu te odabran optimalni udio etanola u džibri. Nakon provedene analize potrošnje energije, određen je teorijski broj plitica te je odabran optimalni udio etanola u proizvodu. Određene su dimenzije plitica, promjer kolone te iskoristivost plitica čime je određen konačan broj plitica. Uz gore navedeno, rad sadrži termodinamički proračun kondenzatora, deflegmatora, štedne grijalice i kotlića te proračun čvrstoće kotlića. Za grijanje kotlića se koristi suhozasićena vodena para, a za hlađenje kondenzatora rashladna voda.

Abstract

In this master's thesis the task was to design main parts of rectification plant for continuous ethanol production from ethanol water mixture. The analysis of optimal regine based on heat consumption was made for different fractions of ethanol in the bottoms. After the energy consumption analysis a theoretical number of stages in the column was found which determined the optimal fraction of ethanol in the final product. After the optimal regime was determined the dimensions of the trayes and the column was found. The real number of stages for both rectifying and stripping section, was determined by calculation of each tray efficiency. This master's thesis work, contains a thermodynamic design calculations of the condenser, reflux drum, heat recovery unit and strength calculation for the boiler. A heat source in the bolier, was saturated steam, and for cooling of the condenser , cooling water was used.
