U radu je dan prikaz istraživanja osjetljivosti čelika API 5L X80 prema pojavi pukotina uzrokovanih vodikom. Poznato je da su čelici povišene čvrstoće skloni nastanku pukotina uzrokovanih vodikom. Prisutnost vodika u metalu zavara ili ZUT-a može dovesti do oblika pukotina poznatog kao pukotina uzrokovana vodikom (HIC). Ovaj oblik pukotina obično se naziva hladne pukotine jer nastaju na ili blizu sobne temperature nakon što se zavar ohladi. Unatoč činjenici da su vodikove pukotine proučavane više od 60 godina, još uvijek ne postoji univerzalni mehanizam nastajanja. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provest će se ispitivanje sklonosti čelika API 5L X80 prema hladnim pukotinama pomoću Implant testa.

Abstract

This paper reflects on the susceptibility of API 5L X80 steel to hydrogen-induced cracking. It is known that high strength steels are susceptible to hydrogen-induced cracking. The presence of hydrogen in the weld metal or HAZ may lead to a form of cracking known as hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC). This form of cracking is also commonly referred to as since it occurs at or near room temperature after the weld has cooled. Despite the fact that hydrogen cracking and have been studied for over 60 years, there is still no universally accepted mechanism. In the experimental part of the work, testing of the susceptibility of steel API 5L X80 to cold cracking will be carried out using the Implant Test.
