Abstract (Croatian)

Ventili su uređaji u regulacijskom krugu nekog postrojenja koji upravljaju protokom medija regulirajući varijable unutar regulacijskog kruga. Općenite podijele ventila su prema konstrukciji i funkciji, primjeni i gibanju. Regulacijski ventili su prigušni ventili opremljeni vlastitim pogonom koje dijelimo na ventile, zaklopke, kuglaste. Njihova brzina protoka regulira se pomoću zapornog elementa čiju posebnu izvedbu ima svaka vrsta ventila. Postoji mnogo kriterija za odabir ventila, a odabir ovisi o uvjetima rada i parametrima procesa. U ovome radu navedeni su načini primjene i opće karakteristike vrsta ventila. Objašnjena je karakteristika protoka i odabir odgovarajuće karakteristike te ostali kriteriji za odabir. Tokom cijelog rada rađene su usporedbe između vrsta ventila. Ukratko su definirani i opisani motori, kao i pozicioner. Dan je uvid u dimenzioniranje i predstavljeni su uobičajeni problemi ventila.

Abstract

Valves are the key devices in the process of controlling and managing the flow of a fluid and regulate the process variables. A valve classification can be achieved according to function and design, application and motion. Generally, control valves are throttling valves but equipped with an actuator. These can usually be divided into globe, ball and butterfly valves. The flow rate of the valve is controlled by a trim and every type of valve has a special shape of a trim. While it is wide the valve selection criteria, it mainly depends on the process conditions and parameters of the system. This final thesis presents applications of control valves, considering their operation and design. Valves coefficients, flow characteristics, pressure classes and others valve selection criteria are shown. Finally, a comparison between types of a control valves is provided along with the description of actuators, positioners and the most common valve problems.
