Abstract (Croatian)
Abstract
Today, the replacement of the knee joint is treated as a routine operation. In this work, materials which are used in this case, are explained in detail. Titanium and chrome based alloys have the best tribological and biocompatible properties and those are selected to use in medicine and orthopedics. In the experimental fragment, the metal parts of implant were compared. The first is characterized and tested by the hardness method is Ti6Al4V. Second alloy was CoCrMo.
