Abstract (Croatian)
Tema ovog rada je eksperimentalno određivanje karakterističnog tlačnog i savojnog opterećenja koje dovodi do narušavanja integriteta kompozitne sendvič konstrukcije. U uvodnom dijelu ukratko je predstavljen FSB Racing Team i Formula Student natjecanja, kao i uloga kompozitnih materijala u nosivoj konstrukciji trkaćeg bolida. Prikazan je inicijalni izbor vrste ispuna i ugljičnih vlakana za monocoque šasiju električnog bolida FSB Racing Team-a predviđenog za sezonu natjecanja 2019. godine. U drugom poglavlju su opisani umetci koji imaju funkciju nošenja komponenti koje se prihvaćaju na nosivu konstrukciju bolida te su definirana konstrukcijska ograničenja koja umetci moraju podnijeti kako bi zadovoljili uvjete pravilnika po kojima se konstruira bolid Formule Student. U trećem poglavlju opisana je izrada uzoraka sendvič strukture s umetcima. U četvrtom poglavlju opisan je postupak eksperimentalnog testiranja uzoraka statičkom kidalicom Messphysik Beta 50-5 i optičkim mjernim sustavom Aramis za bezkontaktno određivanje polja pomaka i deformacija na mjestu spoja umetka i kompozitne strukture. U petom poglavlju prikazani su rezultati maksimalnih sila dobivenih pri tlačnom i savojnom opterećenju zajedno s pripadajućim poljima pomaka i deformacija. Dobiveni rezultati su uspoređeni s rezultatima norveškog tima Formula Student Revolve NTNU. Zaključci na temelju provedenih ispitivanja dani su u šestom poglavlju.
Abstract
In this thesis, an experimental determination of characteristic compressive and bending loads that lead to distortion of a composite structure integrity has been conducted. In the introduction part, a brief description of FSB Racing Team and Formula Student competitions have been presented, as well as the role of composite materials in the supporting structure of a race car. An initial choice for core and carbon fibres of monocoque chassis have been represented, for FSB Racing Team’s electric car scheduled for 2019 competition season. In the second chapter, inserts whose function is the support of all components attached to the chassis have been described along with design constraints the inserts have to carry out to fulfil the requirements of the rulebook of Formula Student. In the third chapter, the manufacturing process of sandwich structure samples has been described. In the fourth chapter, the procedure of the experimental testing of sandwich samples with Messphysik Beta 50-5 testing machine along with the Aramis contactless optical measuring system for determination of displacement and strain field at the connection point of insert and composite structure has been described. In the fifth chapter, the results of maximum loads of compressive and bending tests have been presented, altogether with their related displacement and strain fields. The given results are afterwards compared with the results acquired from Norwegian Formula Student Team Revolve NTNU. The conclusion based on the carried out testings are presented in chapter six.
