Abstract (Croatian)

U ovom radu zadatak je numerički odrediti nestacionarno zagrijavanje aluminijskog bloka. Pomoću pojednostavljenog matematičkog modela i formulacijom konačnih volumena izvedene su diskretizirane jednadžbe potrebne za numeričko opisivanje provođenja topline. Metodom konačnih diferencija definirale su se pogreške zaokruživanja numeričke aproksimacije. Rješavanjem linearnog sustava diskretiziranih jednadžbi dobivene su temperature na točkama domene. Uspoređeni su rezultati dobiveni za različite rubne uvjete, te dimenzije s analitičkim izrazom provođenja topline kroz krutinu zanemarivog toplinskog otpora.

Abstract

In this paper the task is to numerically solve transient heating of aluminium block. Discrete equations needed for numerical description of heat transfer were derived with simplified mathematical model and control volume formulation. Truncuation error from numerical aproximation was defined with finite difference method. Temperatures on domains nodes were obtained by solving linear system. Results given with different boundary conditions and dimensions were compared with analytical expression of lumped system.
