Abstract (Croatian)

U okviru ovoga rada analizira se uporaba toplinskog spremnika koji će prilikom pogona ORC postrojenja na biomasu u uvjetima otočnog pogona omogućiti pravovremeno usklađivanje za potražnjom električne energije. U prvome dijelu izveden je pojednostavljeni matematički model dinamike procesa za ORC postrojenje s termouljnim kotlom i izgaranjem biomase na rešetki. Također, proveden je termodinamički proračun izgaranja drvne sječke poznatog kemijskog sastava. U nastavku je opisan toplinski spremnik koji je sastavljen od velikog broja cijevi koje su obložene različitim materijalima poput lijevanog željeza ili betona različitih debljina u svrhu pohrane toplinske energije u obliku osjetne topline. Na samom kraju prikazana je usporedba rezultata simulacije za slučaj sa ili bez toplinskog spremnika, te su prikazane prednosti i nedostaci toplinskog spremnika s obzirom na njegovo pozicioniranje u odnosu na termouljni kotao.

Abstract

In the context of this paper anlyzed is use of thermal energy storage that will provide real time matching of electric power demand of biomass ORC plant running in an off-grid area. In the first part, simplified mathematical model of process dynamics for ORC plant with thermal oil boiler and biomass combustion on grate is shown. Also, a termodinamical calculation of combustion of wood chips of known chemical composition is carried out. In extension, described is a thermal energy storage made up of a large number of pipes coated with different materials such as cast iron or concrete with variable thickness with purpose of storing thermal energy in a form of sensible heat. At the end the comparison of the results of simulation is given for the case with or without thermal energy storage, and his advantages and disandvantages in regards to its positioning in correspondence of thermal oil boiler.
