Abstract (Croatian)

U radu je definiran novi postupak hidrauličkog proračuna rotora i spiralnog kućišta brzohodne centrifugalne pumpe. Za provedbu proračuna korišteni su programski paketi Octave i foam-extend. Hidraulički proračun testiran je na primjeru postojeće centrifugalne pumpe domaćeg proizvođača. Kako bi se provjerila točnost proračuna, provedena je simulacija strujanja kroz pumpu primjenom metoda računalne dinamike fluida. Numerički proračun strujanja proveden je korištenjem programskih paketa Ansys/Fluent i foam-extend. Korištena su dva pristupa numeričkog proračuna strujanja: metoda pokretnog koordinatnog sustava i metoda rotirajuće mreže kontrolnih volumena. Prikazana je konvergencija rješenja i ovisnost rješenja o modelu turbulencije. Rezultati numeričkog proračuna pokazuju kako su zadovoljene tražene hidrauličke karakteristike centrifugalne pumpe, a iskoristivost nove pumpe znatno je bolja od referentne pumpe istih dimenzija i brzohodnosti.

Abstract

A new procedure for the hydrodynamic calculation of the rotor and spiral casing of high speed centrifugal pump has been defined. Calcualtions were performed using foam-extend and octave program packages. The pump calculations were tested on the example of an existing centrifugal pump of a domestic manufacturer. In order to check the accuracy of the calculation, a simulation of flow through the pump was carried out using the methods of computational fluid dynamics. The numerical calculation of the flow was carried out using the Ansys / Fluent and foam-extend program packages. Two approaches to the numerical calculation of the flow were used: multiple reference frame and sliding mesh. Solution convergence and turbulence model dependency are shown. The results of the numerical calculation show that the required hydraulic characteristics of the centrifugal pump have been met and the efficiency of the new pump is much better than the reference pump of the same dimensions and speed.
