Abstract (Croatian)

U ovom radu obrađena je tema optimizacije proizvodnih procesa u brodograđevnom sektoru implementacijom vitkih alata. U prvom poglavlju detaljno je objašnjena vitka metodologija njena načela i alati kojima se ta načela mogu ostvariti. U drugom poglavlju dan je pregled literature na temu implementacije vitke metodologije u brodograđevnom sektoru u Japanu, SAD-u i Norveškoj. Iz dostupne literature ekstrahirani su faktori koji imaju utjecaj na uspješnost implementacije te ponuđena nova kategorizacija. Kao drugi dio istog poglavlja napravljena je usporedba ERP sustava i vitke metodologije kao dva glavna strateška pravca i istražen utjecaj ERP sustava na vitku metodologiju i vice versa. U četvrtom poglavlju ponuđen je okvir za implementaciju vitke metodologije u brodograđevno poduzeće sa smjernicama i jasnim uputama na koji način bi se trebalo postupiti u svrhu postizanja uspješne implementacije. Peto poglavlje bavi se praktičnom primjenom odabranih vitkih alata koji su ocjenjeni kao oni koji bi se trebali uvesti među prvima alatima u poduzeće – Kaizen sustav, 5S i SMED.

Abstract

This paper elaborates optimization and manufacturing processes in the shipbuilding sector by implementing lean tools. In the second chapter, lean methodology and its principles are described in detail and covered with tools that support them. The third chapter gives a review of the Japanese, USA and Norwegian shipbuilding sector, with a focus on the implementation of lean methodology. Using the available literature, factors that have an impact on the implementations success were extracted, and a new categorization is offered. Since the ERP system and lean methodology were identified as the two most important strategic directions, the third chapter also contains an analysis of their mutual influences. The fourth chapter consist of a framework for the implementation of lean methodology in a shipbuilding company. The framework is followed by guidelines and clear instructions on how to achieve a successful implementation. Finally, the fifth chapter deals with the practical application of selected lean tools. Implemented tools were identified as the ones that should be introduced amongst the first tools used in a practice of an enterprise – Kaizen system, 5S and SMED tool.
