U ovom radu provedena je usporedba konstrukcijskih značajki klasičnog koncepta čeličnih podiznih palubica sa novim konceptom podiznih palubica koje su izrađene od kombinacije čeličnog roštilja i kompozitnih panela. Podizne palubice koriste se na brodovima za prijevoz automobila i vozila (PCTC), te se na njih parkiraju manja osobna vozila. Kompozitni paneli koriste se kao zamjena za lim i ukrepe oplate te preuzimaju lokalna opterećenja od vozila i ne sudjeluju u globanoj čvrstoći palubice. Usporedba je provedena na zadanom primjeru s obzirom na ukupnu masu pojedine izvedbe podizne palubice. Kako bi se mogle usporediti različite izvedbe podiznih palubica izrađeni su MKE modeli u programskom paketu FEMAP/NX NASTRAN. Kako bi usporedba različitih koncepata podiznih palubica bila konzistentna, dimenzije konstrukcijskih elemenata reprojektirane su kako bi se zadovoljila sva zadana ograničenja/zahtjevi. Pri tome je kod svih koncepata reprojektiranje provedeno s ciljem minimizacije ukupne mase podizne palubice. Na kraju rada dan je usporedni prikaz karakteristika svih varijanti te ocjena racionalnosti primjene novog koncepta podiznih palubica.

Abstract

In this thesis, a comparision of the design features between classical design of liftable decks made of steel and a new concept of liftable decks made of steel grillage and composite panels was conducted. Liftable decks are being used on Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC), as a car deck for smaller passenger cars. Composite panels are used as a replacement for stiffened plate in a classical steel ramp concept. They are loaded only with a local loads from vehicles and do not participate in a global strength of a deck structure. The comparison was carried out on the given example with respect to the total weight of an individual liftable deck. In order to compare the different concepts of liftable decks, FEM models were created in the software package FEMAP/NX NASTRAN. The dimensions of the structural elements were redesigned to meet all given constraints/requirements, in order to compare the different concepts of liftable decks consistently. Minimiziation of the total weight of liftable deck was used as the objective for the redesign of all liftable deck variants. A comparative overview of the characteristics of all concepts followed by the discussion on the rationality of the application of the new concept of liftable decks has been given at the end of the thesis.
