Tehnološki razvoj omogućuje nam sve komforniji način života. Jedna od tih mogućnosti je i konzumacija raznih prehrambenih proizvoda van njihove sezone dozrijevanja. Da bi proizvodi bili dostupni tijekom cijele godine potrebno je održavati ih na niskoj temperaturi u hladnjačama jer niske temperature ploda usporavaju njegovo propadanje. Za postizanje niskih temperatura u hladnjačama koriste se rashladni uređaji punjeni različitim radnim tvarima koje zbog svojih fizikalnih svojstava omogućuju postizanje željenih temperatura. Istoimene radne tvari, ako se njima nepropisno rukuje ili dođe do propuštanja i nekontroliranog otjecanja radnih tvari u okoliš, imaju negativan utjecaj na ozonski sloj i ubrzavaju globalno zatopljenje. Utjecaj radnih tvari na globalno zatopljenje izražen je preko GWP (Global warming potential) broja. Različite radne tvari imaju različiti GWP broj, a danas se raznim uredbama i zakonima želi postići korištenje radnih tvari sa što nižim GWP-om. Radna tvari R404A ima relativno visok GWP što će provedbom F-Gas regulative u skoroj budućnosti značiti njenu potpunu zabranu korištenja. Zbog toga se pokušavaju pronaći radne tvari sličnih svojstava sa nižim GWP-om kako bi poslužile kao zamjenska radna tvar u već postojećim uređajima i kao nova radna tvar za buduće uređaje. Ovim radom nastoji se usporediti radnu tvar R404A sa nizom radnih tvari sličnih svojstava, ali sa nižim GWP-om. Njihova je usporedba provedena računski za postojeći rashladni uređaj u Laboratoriju za toplinu i toplinske uređaje Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje u Zagrebu. Rezultati su analizirani i odabrana je idealna zamjena.

Abstract

Technological development provides us with a more comfortable way of life. One of these advantages is the consumption of various food products out of their maturing season. In order to make the products available all year long, it is necessary to maintain them at low temperature in cold rooms because low temperature slows down its decay. Refrigeration devices are filled with different refrigerants which, due to their physical properties, allow achieving the desired temperatures. If improperly handled or uncontrolled leakage of refrigerant into the environment occurs it can have a negative impact on ozone depletion and can accelerate global warming. The impact of refrigerant on global warming is expressed through the GWP (Global warming potential) number. Different refrigerants have different GWP numbers, and today various laws obligue us to use lower-grade GWP refrigerants. The R404A has a relatively high GWP and after implemetation of F-Gas regulation it will be completely baned. This is why attempts are made to find similar refrigerants with lower GWPs to serve as a substitute workforce in existing devices and as a new workforce for future devices. This work seeks to compare R404A with a range of similar refrigerants, but with lower GWP. Their comparison was based on calculations for the existing refrigeration device at the Laboratory for Heat and Heat Devices of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb. The results were analyzed and the ideal replacement was chosen.
