Abstract (Croatian)

U ovom radu prikazan je kontrolni numerički i analitički proračun pojednostavljenog ponovno punjivog spremnika za stlačeni prirodni plin, odnosno CNG (engl. Compressed Natural Gas) spremnika. Numerička analiza provedena je u programskom paketu Abaqus koji se temelji na metodi konačnih elemenata, dok je analitički proračun temeljen na proračunu savijanja dugih, tankostjenih konstrukcija. U uvodu je opisana konstrukcija te njene izvedbe u industriji. Isto tako opisani su prednosti i nedostatci medija unutar spremnika koji se koristi za pogon prijevoznih sredstava. Nadalje se se opisuje numerička metoda te programski paket Abaqus. Isto tako opisani su i tipovi elementa koji su se koristili u numeričkoj analizi. Prvo je proveden analitički proračun odabranog dijela spremnika, koji obuhvaća spojeve lijeve i desne sferne ljuske s cilindričnom ljuskom, dok je numerička analiza provedena uzimajući u obzir cijelu cijelu geometriju spremnika. Na samom primjeru provedena je i verifikacija primjenjenih konačnih elemenata. U numeričkoj analizi koristili su se različiti konačni elementi, čiju smo učinkovitost ispitali na osnovi konvergencije k analitičkom rješenju. Analitički i numerički rezultati naprezanja i pomaka su uspoređeni na osnovi raspodjele naprezanja i pomaka duž izvodnica ljusaka, te je u zaključku dan kritički osvrt na dobivene rezultate i samu konstrukciju spremnika.

Abstract

This paper presents a numerical and analytical control calculation of a simplified rechargeable reservoir for compressed natural gas or CNG tanks. Numerical analysis was carried out in the Abaqus program package, which is based on the finite element method, while the analytical calculation is based on the bending calculation of long, discontinuous shells. The introduction describes the construction and its applications in the industry. Advantages and disadvantages of the media inside the container used to drive the means of transport, the numerical method and the Abaqus software package are also described. First, an analytical calculation of the selected part of the container was carried out, comprising the joints of the left and right spherical shells with the cylindrical shell, while the numerical analysis was performed on entire tank geometry. Different finite elements were used in numerical analysis, whose efficiency was tested based on covergence toward the analytical solution. The analytical and numerical results of the stresses and the displacements were compared based on stress distribution and displacement along the shell. In the conclusion of the paper a critical review of the results obtained and the construction of the container itself was given.
