Abstract (Croatian)

Osnovni zadatak ovog rada je odabrati konstrukcijski tip i režim strujanja te analizirati parametre dva Shell&Tube izmjenjivača topline koji se koriste u industrijskom postrojenju u svrhu indirektnog zagrijavanja zraka pomoću otpadne topline dimnih plinova. Pri tome kroz izmjenjivače topline cirkulira termo-ulje koje preuzima toplinu od dimnih plinova i predaje ju suhom zraku. Na početku su dane osnovne informacije o sustavima povrata otpadne topline i izmjenjivačima topline te fizikalne osnove konvektivnog prijenosa topline i proračuna izmjenjivača topline. Nakon toga su odabrani konstrukcijski i tehnološki parametri te je određena duljina oba izmjenjivača. Na kraju je analiziran utjecaj zaprljanja cijevi i promjene masenih protoka na rad spomenutog sustava za indirektno zagrijavanje.

Abstract

The main task of this thesis is based on selection of construction type and flow arrangement and the performance analysis of two Shell & Tube heat exchangers used for air heating in indirect waste heat recovery system of the industrial plant. The heat exchangers are coupled by circulating thermal oil whereby the heat is transferred from the flue gas to the dry air. Firstly, basic information about waste heat recovery and heat exchangers as well as fundamentals of convective heat transfer and design of heat exchangers are given. Afterwards, geometrical and performance parameters are chosen and the length of the heat exchangers is determined. At the end, influence of fouling and change in mass flow rates on performance of above mentioned indirect system are studied and analysis of the results is carried out.
