Abstract (Croatian)

Kod nekih procesa ili sustava ponekad nije moguće ili je vrlo teško ili čak preskupo izmjeriti neke fizikalne veličine. Jedno od mogućih rješenja navedenog problema je primjena estimatora teško mjerljivih veličina. Ovaj rad bavi se problemom estimacije stanja napunjenosti (SoC) baterije. Projektirano je više estimatora temeljenih na konceptu Kalmanovog filtra koji su nakon toga primijenjeni na različite modele baterija. Na početku rada dan je kratki pregled i opis elektrokemijskih sustava za skladištenje električne energije te su navedeni i opisani glavni parametri baterija. Slijedi pregled raznih matematičkih modela baterija te njihove matematičke formulacije i izvodi, kao i odabir modela pogodnih za estimaciju. Nakon toga, opisani su i izvedeni estimatori korišteni u radu, a to su klasični stacionarni Kalmanov filtar, prošireni Kalmanov filtar (EKF) i nederivacijski Kalmanov filtar (UKF). Nakon prikaza estimatora, prikazani su i komentirani rezultati simulacija za karakteristične slučajeve te je također prikazano ponašanje raznih parametara baterije ovisno o stanju napunjenosti.

Abstract

In some processes or systems, sometimes it is not possible, or it is very hard or far too expensive to measure some physical states. One of the ways to solve the aforementioned problem is to use state estimator. With this in mind, this work deals with the problem of battery State-of-Charge (SoC) estimation. Several estimators based on Kalman Filter have been designed and then applied on different battery models. At the beginning of this work, a brief overview and description of the electrochemical systems for the energy storage has been given and the main battery parameters has been stated and described. Afterwards, a review of various mathematical models and their mathematical formulations are given and battery models for estimation were chosen. Then, estimators which were used in the thesis are described and extracted, and those are classic stationary Kalman filter, Extended Kalman filter and Unscented Kalman filter. After the estimators are outlined, simulation results are shown and commented for the considered simulation scenarios.
