Abstract (Croatian)
Zbog relativno malog broja istraživanja i podataka aluminijske pjene spadaju pod relativno novu vrstu materijala. Veliki interes i razvoj ove vrste materijala je sve veći upravo zbog mogućnosti kombinacije određenih svojstava prigodnih za široku tehničku primjenu. Najzanimljivije svojstvo koje aluminijske pjene posjeduju, zbog specifične strukture, je mogućnost apsorpcije velike količine energije. Upravo je to cilj ovog diplomskog rada, pratiti deformaciju uzoraka izrađenih od aluminijske pjene. Uz pomoć dobivenih podataka dovesti u vezu gustoću aluminijske pjene potrebne za izradu uzoraka i optimalnu iskoristivost odnosno apsorpciju energije.
Abstract
Due to low amount of research and data, aluminum foams are considered relativly new type of material. Growing interest and development is present because of its very attractive combination of properties that can be tailored according to the application. The most interesting property, due to specific structure, is ability to absorb great amount of energy.The main purpose of this final thesis is to monitor compression of aluminum foam samples. The idea is to use collected data and link ideal density of foam, used for production of samples, and exploitation i.e. energy absorption.
