Abstract (Croatian)

Automatizirani skladišni sustavi s regalnim vozilima su relativno novija tehnologija za skladištenje manjih tereta i sve učestalija alternativa automatiziranim skladišnim sustavima s dizalicama. Oni nalaze svoju primjenu ponajviše u uvjetima velikog protoka za komisioniranje artikala i imaju određenu fleksibilnost u odnosu na tradicionalne sustave s dizalicama. Projektiranje takvih sustava i pronalaženje optimalne varijante je potpomognuto brojnim analitičkim modelima iz grupe modela vremena vožnje i modela redova čekanja. Oni modeliraju realni sustav s manjom razinom detalja od simulacijskog modela stoga se koriste u ranoj fazi projektiranja za pronalaženje najboljih kandidata. U radu je predstavljen simulacijski model koji objedinjava neke mogućnosti modela vremena vožnje i modela reda čekanja kako bi se izračunala ne samo vremena radnih ciklusa i protok nego otkrio koliki je utjecaj blokiranja na performanse sustava, čime se otkriva i greška analitičkih modela. Nadalje, provedena je optimizacija modela pomoću promjene metode skladištenja čime je moguće ostvariti poboljšanje protoka. Dodatno, u radu su opisane razne izvedbe automatiziranih skladišnih sustava, njihova podjela, način rada i metode upravljanja.

Abstract

Shuttle-based storage and retrieval systems (SBS/RS) are relatively newer technology for storing miniloads and are more frequent alternative to crane-based storage and retrieval systems. SBS/RS is mainly applied for order picking with high throughput requirements and have a certain degree of flexibility compared to crane-based systems. Designing such systems and finding the optimal variant is conducted by numerous analytical models, namely travel time models and queuing network models. They model the real system with lower level of details than simulation models so they are used in early design phase to find the best candidates. This paper presents simulation model which combines some properties of travel time model and queuing network model for calculating not just cycle times and system throughput but to discover the impacts of blocking on system performance and compare the results with analytical model. Furthermore, optimization of the model is performed in order to increase throughput by changing storage assignment methods. Also, this paper presents various types of automated storage systems, their classification, mode of operation and control policies.
