Abstract (Croatian)

Abstract

Power transformers’ noise emission has become an important field for designers which are engaged in design of power transformers. Permitted noise level is defined by the law which should be satisfied by the manufacturer. In this Master’s thesis, a simplified power transformer model whose noise level results can be directly compared to the measurement results is analysed. Analysis is conducted by means of the finite element method (FEM). The three-phase transformer is here modeled in a way that it is simplified enough for numerical analysis, but at the same time possesses a sufficient level of detail to give satisfying results. This model can serve as a basis which can later include more complex models of individual entities, so that it can achieve greater accuracy and better possibility to describe the actual situation. At the very beginning basic concepts of power transformers and vibrations are given. Then the overview of the transformer for which the analysis is carried out together with its model is given. Afterwards follow the settings of the analysis which are the main part of this thesis. The last chapter contains the results of modal and harmonic analysis that provide information on the problem being analysed. Most valuable part of the results is A-weighted sound pressure level. The conducted analysis showed that the finite element method can be succesfully applied to solve vibroacoustic problems including power transformers' noise issues.
