Ovim radom obrađen je konvencionalni MAG postupak zavarivanja kao i načini prijenosa metala koji se javljaju kod ovog postupka. Nadalje, nabrojani su i kratko opisani modificirani načini prijenosa metala koji se upotrebljavaju u industriji, a zasnivaju se na konvencionalnim načinima prijenosa. Detaljno je obrađen visokoučinski postupak MAG zavarivanja koji primjenjuje način prijenosa metala zakopanim lukom nazvan "D-Arc" kao i njegova primjena za zavarivanje debelostjenih konstrukcija od nelegiranih čelika. U eksperimentalnom dijelu provedena su ispitivanja kvalitete zavara dobivenih visokoučinskim D-Arc postupkom zavarivanja. Ispitivanja su se sastojala od vizualne analize makroizbruska, mjerenja tvrdoće te radiografskog snimanja zavara. Nakon provedenih ispitivanja dobiveni rezultati su uspoređeni sa konvencionalnim štrcajućim lukom.

Abstract

This thesis deals with the conventional MAG welding process as well as the methods of metal transfer that occur in this process. In addition, the modified metal transfer modes which are used in industry, based on conventional metal transfer modes are listed and shortly described. High-efficiency MAG welding process which applies "buried arc" metal transfer mode also called "D-Arc" has been elaborated in detail as well as its application for welding thick steel structures of non-alloy steel. In the experimental part of the thesis, the quality of welds obtained by the high-efficient D-Arc welding process is tested. The tests consisted of visual macroscopic analysis, hardness measurements and radiographic imaging. After the tests were carried out the obtained results were compared with the conventional spray transfer.
