Abstract (Croatian)

Glavni cilj ovog rada je proučiti efekte nošenja viška goriva na ekonomsku bilancu misije koja se sastoji od dva ili više letova. Na početku se navodi problematika nošenja goriva uz iznošenje ograničenja opsega ovog rada. Potom se opisuje zrakoplov Airbus A320 koji se razmatra u ovom radu. Posebno se analiziraju geometrija zrakoplova, aerodinamička svojstva, pogonska skupina i slično, a poseban je naglasak dan na izradu modela potrošnje za motore razmatranog zrakoplova, unutar kojeg je izračunata potrošnja goriva za svaku od tri faze leta na koje je jedan let podijeljen. Nakon što je definirano sve potrebno vezano uz razmatrani zrakoplov, radi se izračun potrošnje goriva tokom jednog leta. Tri faze leta razmatraju se zasebno, a dobiveni se rezultati zbroje kako bi se dobili rezultati koji vrijede za cijeli let. Na kraju se vrši proračun potrošnje goriva za cijelu misiju, a dobiveni rezultati se analiziraju i komentiraju. Analizirane su četiri misije od kojih su dvije osmišljene za potrebe rada, a inspiracija za odabir druge dvije misije došla je iz misija koje se lete u realnom okruženju. Na samom kraju napravljena je i analiza jedne hipotetske misije koja se bavi potrošnjom goriva, neovisno o njegovoj cijeni, za razliku od prethodne četiri misije.

Abstract

The main goal of this paper is to study the effects of fuel tankering on the economy of a mission consisted of two or more flights. At the beginning, the reader is introduced to the matter of fuel tankering while introducing restrictions on the area the paper is dealing with. Then, the aircraft used in this paper is described. Aircraft geometry, aerodynamic characteristics, power plant and other systems are analysed independently, while emphasising the creation of a fuel consumption model for the motors on the said aircraft, in which the fuel consumptions for all three flight phases are calculated separately. The gained results for these three phases are added to get the results for the whole flight. The three phases are being considered separately and are then added to get the results which stand for the whole flight. At the end, the calculation of fuel consumption for the whole mission is conducted, and gained results about the whole mission are analysed and commented. The paper contains the analysis of four different missions. Two of these are made up for the purpose of this paper, and the other two missions are inspired by real-life airline operations. In the last chapters, the analysis of a hypothetical mission is done, which deals with fuel consumption, regardless of the price, unlike the other four missions.
