Abstract (Croatian)

U radu se razmatraju glavni nedostaci EPT zavara i mogući načini njihovog uklanjanja. Detaljno se obraduje postupak EPT zavarivanja s dodatkom metalnog praska kao jedna inačica EPT zavarivanja koja je dala ohrabrujuće rezultate u pogledu uklanjanja najvećih nedostataka EPT zavara. Opisana su dosadašnja saznanja o EPT zavarivanju s dodatkom metalnog praska do kojih su došli različiti istraživači u svijetu. Cilj ovoga rada bio je izraditi zavarene spojeve EPT postupkom s dodatkom metalnog praska koji bi bili primjenjivi u zavarenom stanju bez naknadne toplinske obrade. U radu su postavljene najnužnije teoretske pretpostavke na temelju kojih je izrađen metalni prasak za potrebe pokusa i provedena modifikacija konvencionalnog EPT stroja u stroj za EPT zavarivanje s dodatkom metalnog praska. U okviru toga opisan je postupak konstrukcije i izrade dodavača metalnog praska kao i modificirane sapnice za brzo EPT zavarivanje. Opisane su i potrebne preinake na električnim spojevima između izvora, stroja i upravljačkog ormara. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provedeni su pokusi EPT zavarivanja s dodatkom metalnog praska i konvencionalnog EPT zavarivanja. Izvršena je analiza i usporedba metalurških i mehaničkih svojstava EPT zavara s dodatkom metalnog praska sa svojstvima konvencionalnog EPT zavara sa i bez naknadne normalizacije. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na ispitivanje udarne radnje loma izvedenih zavara. EPT zavarivanjem s dodatkom metalnog praska postignuto je značajno povećanje udarne radnje loma u ZUT-u zavarenog spoja. U raspravi se razmatra postignuta kvaliteta zavara i primjenjivosti tog postupka zavarivanja u praksi.

Abstract

This work presents a surwey of the main flaws of ESW welds and methods of their elimination. The process of electroslag welding with the addition of metal powder, as one version of electroslag welding that has yielded promising results with respect to eliminating electroslag weld flaws, is evaluated in detail. Concurrent knowledge and facts on the subject of electroslag welding with metal powder addition is given from various authors and researchers worldwide. The objective of this work was to produce electroslag welds with metal powder addition which would be applicable in practice without subsequent heat treatment. In the work basic theoretical assumptions are established on the grounds of which a metal powder was designed for the experiments and a conventional electroslag welding machine was modified into one with metal powder addition. The construction of a metal powder dispenser as well as a modified welding nozzle is depicted. All neccessary changes that were undertaken on electrical connections between the power supplies, machine and controls are likewise described. In the experimental part of this work trials of electroslag welding with metal powder addition and conventional electroslag welding were undertaken. An analysis and comparation of metallurgical and mechanical properties was carried out between an electroslag weld with added metal powder and a conventional electroslag weld with and without subsequent normalization. Special emphasis was put on examining weld toughnesses. Electroslag welding with metal powder addition yielded a significant rise in the toughness of the heat affected zone of welds. The achieved quality of welds is discussed and the possibility of implementing this welding process in practice.
