Abstract (Croatian)

Životni vijek polimernih zupčanika većim je dijelom uvjetovan njihovim geometrijskim karakteristikama i svojstvima materijala, čiji međusobni utjecaji nisu dovoljno istraženi. U ovom radu provedeno je istraživanje utjecaja pomaka profila, opterećenja te stanja materijala na radni vijek polimernih zupčanika i kvalitetu rada prijenosnika. Provedena je klasifikacija osnovnih svojstava polimera s naglaskom utjecaja vode na mehanička svojstva poliamida. Također, analizirani su načini izrade i utjecaj bočne zračnosti u interakciji s promjenom sadržaja vode u poliamidu. Dane su smjernice za izračun bočne zračnosti prema funkciji prijenosnika. Prikazom rezultata eksperimentalnih istraživanja potvrđen je utjecaj temperature na radni vijek polimernih zupčanika. Dane su matematičke formulacije za izračun očekivane srednje temperature bokova zuba, gubitak mase te očekivani ostvareni broj radnih ciklusa do kolapsa zupčanika prema ulaznim parametrima. Klasifikacijom uvjeta radnog vijeka zupčanika prikazane su očekivane tendencije promjene buke i kvalitete rada polimernih zupčanika. Postavljene su granice opteretivosti prema zaribavanju zupčanika od poliamida 6 (PA 6) za područje brzina vrtnje od 1000 do 2100 min-1 u kombinaciji materijala PA 6/PA 6. Znanstveni doprinos ostvaren je dobivanjem iskustvenih vrijednosti, važnih za točnije i pouzdanije projektiranje polimernih zupčanika, te postavljanje zakonitosti vezanih uz granice opteretivosti. Osobit doprinos dan je utvrđivanjem utjecaja stanja ispitnog materijala na pojavu oštećenja kod polimernih zupčanika.

Abstract

Polymer spur gear based transmission systems are becoming increasingly important due to economically acceptable production costs. Life of such gears is highly dependent on the mechanical loads in interaction with geometrical and material properties, which is not yet sufficiently investigated. Therefore, the main goal of this research was to establish the effects of profile shift, torque and different material conditions on the polymer (polyamide PA 6) gear life. In addition, the effects of various production methods as well as the effects of backslash in interaction with water content in polymer have also been investigated. Experimental part of research was done on testbed with locked gear train power transmission system capable of measuring temperatures in close proximity to the gear mesh. Mathematical models based on experimental results have been suggested for estimation of mean temperatures in gear mesh, loss of mass under different working conditions and expected number of cycles. Basic polymer properties have been classified with emphasis on the effects of water on their mechanical properties. Recommendations for backslash calculation with respect to the transmission system application have also been provided. Trends of noise and quality of transmission operation have also been investigated with respect to the working conditions and conditions for the end of gear life. Finally, thermal failure boundaries for polyamide gear pairs without lubrication have been established under different working conditions.
