Abstract (Croatian)
U ovom radu obrađivati će se razvoj i konstruiranje uređaja za obradu staklenih rubova. Pri razvoju ovog proizvoda posebna pažnja pridavala se što većoj automatizaciji i rasponu obrade, bilo da se tiče oblika ili debljine obradaka. Također, naglasak je stavljen na modularizaciju elemeneta, te zaštitu operatera tijekom eksploatacije, kako bi se dobio cjelovit proizvod spreman na industrijsku primjenu.
Abstract
This thesis will be dealing with development and design of a machine used for grinding glass edges (edging). During the development of this machine, great care has been given to extending automation abilities, as well as machining spectrum, considering the shape but also the thickness of the processed part. Also, the emphasis has been put on modular design, and handling safety. All of these design elements combined make for a machine ready for industrial exploitation.
