Abstract (Croatian)

Ovim radom analiziran je utjecaj materijalnih svojstava parodontnog ligamenta na položaj središta otpora gornjeg desnog sjekutića kod ortodontske terapije. U programskom paketu Mimics Medical 17.0, iz CT snimki lubanje, izrađen je 3D model. Model se sastoji od zuba, parodontnog ligamenta i alveolne kosti koja se sastoji iz kortikalnog i trabekularnog djela. Model je u programskom paketu Abaqus analiziran kao linearno elastičan i nelinearan koristeći metodu konačnih elemenata. Parodontni ligament je prvo analiziran kao izotropan i homogen, a zatim je podijeljen na pet regija koje su bile izotropne, ali svaka s različitim mehaničkim svojstvima. Na krunu zuba postavljena je sila F čiji se iznos mijenjao te je iznosio 1 N, 3 N i 5 N, a na istom hvatištu kao i sila, postavljen je i moment M koji je uvijek iznosio -5 Nmm. S obzirom da su analize bile linearno elastične i nelinearne, s homogenim i heterogenim parodontim ligamnetom te sa tri različite vrijednosti sila, izvršeno je ukupno dvanaest analiza. Analize su pokazale da materijalna svojstva parodontnog ligamenta osjetno utječu na položaj središta otpora zuba.

Abstract

In this thesis the influence of material properties of peridontal ligament on position on center of resistance of upper right incisor was analysed. In Mimics Medical 17.0, from CT scan of skull, a 3D model was built. The model is composed of teeth, periodontal ligament and alveolar bone which consists of cortical and trabecular part. Model is analyzed in Abaqus as linearly elastic and nonlinear using the finite element method. Periodontal ligament was first analyzed as isotropic and homogenous, then divided into five regions that were isotropic, but each with different mechanical properties. The force F has been applied on dental crown and its magnitude was 1 N, 3 N and 5 N. On the same position was force applied, moment was also applied, and its magnitude was 5 Nmm, and it had same value in all analyses. Since the analyses were linearly elastic and nonlinear, with homogenous and heterogenous periodontal ligament and with three different force values, twelve analyses were done. Analyses have pointed out that material properties of periodontal ligament significantly affects on the position of tooth center of resistance.
