Borbena oklopna vozila na gusjenicama sastavni su dio svake moderne vojske i čine temeljni obrambeni i udarni dio kopnenih snaga. Njihova pokretljivost jako je bitan aspekt u pogledu borbene sposobnosti. U prvom dijelu završnog rada objašnjeno je što se sve smatra pod pokretljivošću borbenog oklopnog vozila. Također je napravljen pregled specifičnih razlika u sustavima i kretanju vozila na gusjenicama u odnosu na vozila na kotačima. Objašnjena je teorija kretanja vozila na gusjenicama. Pomoću dostupne literature napravljen je pregled sustava transmisije, ovjesa i hodnog dijela koji se koriste kod borbenih oklopnih vozila na gusjenicama, odnosno sustava koji direktno utječu na pokretljivost ovih vozila. Na temelju prethodno objašnjene teorije analizirane su performanse, upravljivost, stabilnost i mogućnost svladavanja prepreka tenka iz Oružanih snaga RH te su izračunate veličine uspoređene s drugim modernim tenkovima.

Abstract

Armored fighting vehicles are integral part of every modern army and constitute foundation for the main defensive and striking forces. Their mobility is crucial aspect in terms of combat ability. The first part of this thesis explains what mobility of armored fighting vehicle is. An overview of specific differences between tracked and wheeled vehicles has also been made. The theory of the movement of tracked vehicles is explained. An overview of transmission, suspension and propulsion systems of armored fighting vehicles, systems that directly affect the mobility of these vehicles, has been made. Based on previously explained theory, the performance, maneuverability, stability and ability to overcome obstacles, of the tank from the Croatian Armed Forces were analyzed and compared to other modern tanks.
