Abstract (Croatian)

Bušenje kostiju danas je jedan od uobičajenih zahvata u modernoj medicini. Međutim, ne postoji dovoljan broj istraživanja kako bi se moglo precizno odrediti trošenje svrdla i temperatura kosti koja se razvija tijekom zahvata. Primjena istrošenih svrdla ili preveliki unos topline mogu izazvati postoperativne komplikacije. U ovom radu analizirat će se primjena signala sila rezanja i struja pogonskih motora osi bušilice na mogućnost klasifikacije temperature kosti. Iz snimljenih signala struja i sila izdvojit će se niz značajki procesa. Primjenom umjetne neuronske mreže analizirat će se iskoristivost značajki u procjeni temperature bušenja.

Abstract

Bone drilling is one of the common procedures in modern medicine. However, there is insufficient research that has been done to accurately determine wear level and bone temperature generated during this procedure. Worn drill usage or excessive heat development can cause postoperative complications. This work will analyze the application of cutting force signals and currents of the drill motors in bone temperature classification. Process features will be extracted from the recorded current and force signals. The utilization of features in the classification of drilling temperature will be analyzed using artificial neural network.
