U radu je provedeno modificiranje i prevlačenje površine titanijeve legure Ti6Al4V postupcima: plazmatsko nitriranje, nitriranjem u solnoj kupci TENIFER i PACVD prevlačenjem prevlakom TiN. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada su predložene radne temperature i postupci prevlačenja i modificiranja površina. Provedena je karakterizacija prevlake ispitivanjem hrapavosti površine te debljine, adhezivnost i mikrotvrdoća prevlake. Površine uzoraka snimljene su na svjetlosnom i skenirajućem elektronskom mikroskopu (SEM) te analizirane primjenom elektronske disperzijske spektroskopije (EDS). Iz EDS analize kemijskog sastava površine uzoraka nitriranih u solnoj kupci i plazmi nije utvrđena prisutnost dušika veća samo prisutnost kisika, što ukazuje da na površini uzoraka nije nastala zona spojeva veća samo oksidni film TiO2. Ispitivanje mikrotvrdoće površine utvrđena je viša tvrdoće nitriranih uzoraka u odnosu na polazno stanje, što ukazuje na nastanak vrlo tanke difuzijske zone uz površinu uzoraka.

Abstract

This paper shows a research conducted on the modification and coating of titanium alloy surfaces Ti6Al4V using the following methods: plasma nitration, nitration in solvents TENIFER and PACVD TiN coating. The experiment was propounded with working temperatures and coating, as well as the surface modification procedures. While doing the coating characterization, surface roughness and thickness, adhesion, and microfiber coating were taken into consideration. Sample surfaces were recorded on a light and scanning electron microscope (SEM) and therefore analyzed using electronic dispersion spectroscopy (EDS). The outcome of the EDS analysis of the chemical composition of the surface of nitrated samples in the salt and plasma showed no evidence of nitrogen. However, there was evidence of oxygen, which indicates that the surface of the samples did not produce sole zone compounds, although it did produce the oxide film TiO2. Further investigation of the microhardness of the surface shows that the higher hardness of nitrated samples was found when comparing it to the initial state. This indicates the formation of a very thin diffusion zone along the surface of the given samples.
