U ovom je radu analizirana primjena bazičnim praškom punjene žice za zavarivanje visokočvrstih čelika. U teorijskom je dijelu rada analizirana primjena praškom punjenih žica za zavarivanje visokočvrstih čelika. Objašnjen je FCAW postupak zavarivanja uz prednosti i nedostatke u primjeni. Dan je pregled i klasifikacija praškom punjenih žica prema ISO normi. Usporedno su prikazane operativne karakteristike elektroda punjenih bazičnim i rutilnim praškom, te metalom punjenih elektroda. Također analizirana su mehanička svojstva zavara dobivenih navedenim elektrodama. Ukratko su navedene osnovne značajke zavarljivosti visokočvrstih čelika. U eksperimentalnom je dijelu rada opisan plan zavarivanja čelika API 5L X80 bazičnim praškom punjenom žicom na tri razine unosa topline. Opisana je oprema korištena u eksperimentu, svojstva osnovnog i dodatnog materijala i korišteni zaštitni plin. Ukratko su opisane karakteristike korištenih razornih i nerazornih metoda ispitivanja zavarenih spojeva. Detaljno su opisani načini ispitivanja zavarenih spojeva. Rezultati ispitivanja prikazani su i analizirani u smislu procjene homogenosti i mehaničkih svojstava zavarenih spojeva. Procijenjene su operativne karakteristike korištenog dodatnog materijala za primjenu u realnim uvjetima.

Abstract

In this paper is analyzed the application of basic flux cored wires for welding of high strength steel. In the theoretical part of this paper the application of flux cored wire for welding high strength steel is analyzed. The application of FCAW welding process is explained with advantages and disadvantages. Review and classification of flux cored wires according to ISO norms are given too. Operating characteristics of the basic and rutile flux cored wires and metal cored wires are presented comparable. The mechanical properties of the welded joints obtained by flux cored electrodes were also analyzed. Briefly, the basic weldability properties are listed. Welding procedure specification of steel API 5L X80 with basic flux cored wire on three different heat input levels is described in the experimental part of this paper. Equipment, properties of the basic and additional material and used schielding gas are described. The characteristics of nondestructive testing methods of welded joints are described briefly. Methods used for testing welded joints are described in detail. The test results are presented and analyzed in terms of homogeneity and mechanical properties of welded joints. The operational properties of the additional material used for real conditions applications are estimated.
