U radu je provedeno ispitivanje otpornosti na trošenje komercijalno dobavljivih neprevučenih svrdala prevučenih PVD TiN prevlakom te dvije skupine svrdala prevučenih prevlakama PACVD. Prevlačenje PACVD provedeno je prevlakama TiN/TiCN i TiN/TiBN. Na prevučenim svrdlima provedena su ispitivanja debljina prevlake. Ispitivanje otpornosti na trošenje provedeno je bušenjem aluminijskog profila pri čemu su praćeni temperatura, snaga i vrijeme bušenja. Prevučena svrdla pokazala su značajno bolju otpornost na trošenje u odnosu na ne prevučena svrdla. najbolju otpornost na trošenje pokazala je prevlaka PVD TiN, a potom prevlaka PACVD TiN/TiBN.

Abstract

In this paper we have conducted a test of wear resistance of commercially available drill bits coated with PVD TiN coating and two groups of drill bits coated with PACVD process. PACVD coating was performed with TiN/TiCN and TiN/TiBN coatings. Coating thicknesses were determined on coated drill bits. Examination of wear resistance is carried out by drilling an aluminum profile with temperature, electricity power and drilling time followed. The coated drill bits showed significantly better wear resistance than the non-coated drill bits. The best resistance to wear was obtained with the coating PVD TiN and the second in wear resistance was PACVD TiN/TiBN coating.
