Abstract (Croatian)

Zbog svojih povoljnih mehaničkih i korozijskih svojstava titanove legure su korištene u izradi medicinskih i dentalnih implantata. U ovom radu uspoređena su tribološka svojstva titanove legure TiAl6V4 i PACVD postupkom nanesene prevlake TiN/TiCN. U eksperimentalnom dijelu ovog rada ispitana je: površinska hrapavost, debljina prevlake, adhezivnost prevlake i otpornost na elektrokemijsku koroziju. Variranjem iznosa normalne sile ispitana je otpornost na adhezijsko trošenje. Na temelju rezultata donesena je procjena utjecaja PACVD prevlake TiN/TiCN na tribološka svojstva legure TiAl6V4. U pogledu mehaničkih svojstava ostvarena su poboljšanja, dok u pogledu korozijskih svojstava legura TiAl6V4 pokazuje bolja svojstva od PACVD prevlake TiN/TiCN.

Abstract

Considering favorable mechanical and corrosion properties titanium alloys are used for building medical and dental implants. In this undergraduate thesis tribological properties of titanium alloy TiAl6V4 and PACVD coating TiN/TiCN are compared. In experimental part of this thesis surface roughness, coating thickness, coating adhesion and resistance to electrochemical corrosion is tested. Resistance to adhesion was tested, by varying the amount of normal force, Based on the results, the influence of PACVD TiN / TiCN coating on the tribological properties of the TiAl6V4 alloy is estimated. Furthermore, certain improvements in mechanical properties were made, as for the corrosion properties titanium alloy TiAl6V4 shows better performance than PACVD coaating TiN/TiCN.
