Abstract (Croatian)

Suvremena proizvodnja i metaloprerađivačka poduzeća troškove strojne obrade uglavnom određuju pomoću CAD/CAM sustava. Postupak se najčešće izvodi analizom tehničke dokumentacije, odabirom potrebnih operacija, alata i strojeva te definiranjem njihova redoslijeda. Obzirom da je procjena troškova proizvodnje uporabom CAD/CAM sustava vrlo složeni proces, za njihovu izradu često je potreban značajan udio vremena visokokvalificirane osobe. Predmetni je problem osobito izražen u proizvodnim sustavima koje karakteriziraju male serije i velika raznovrsnost proizvoda gdje je, često zbog kratkih vremenskih rokova, u što kraćem vremenskom periodu potrebno odrediti troškove proizvodnje. Kao jedno od mogućih rješenja nameće se razvoj modela za procjenu troškova proizvodnje zasnovanog na algoritmima računalne inteligencije. Osnovna pretpostavka za razvoj takvog modela je izdvajanje značajki iz zadanog 3D modela. Izdvojene značajke tada je potrebno analizirati kako bi se odredile one koje snažno koreliraju s cijenom dijela. Svrha ovog rada je izraditi algoritme za izdvajanje značajki iz 3D modela obratka i sirovca koje bi se potencijalno mogle iskoristiti u izradi modela za procjenu troškova.

Abstract

Modern manufacturing and metal processing companies often relay on CAD/CAM systems in order to estimate the part production costs. The procedure is often performed by analysing technical documentation, selecting the required operations, tools and machines. Even though such process can result in accurate cost estimation, it is often very time consuming and requires involvement of a s highly qualified person. Problems arise in production systems characterized by small batches and a large variety of products where, often due to short time deadlines, production costs have to be determined in the shortest possible time period. One of the possible solutions is to develop a suitable model for assessing production costs. The basic perquisite for the development of such a model is the extraction of features from both stock and workpiece 3D models. Extracted features should be then analysed to determine their respective correlation with the part production costs. Hence, the main goal of this thesis was to develop a suitable set of algorithms for extraction of features that could potentially be used in the price estimation model.
