Abstract (Croatian)

Ovaj rad opisuje istraživanje pogodnog načina korištenja podataka o tehničkim karakteristikama vozila i rezultata tehničkog pregleda tih vozila u svrhu procjene kvalitete rada stanica za tehnički pregled vozila (dalje: STP). Metodom logit regresijske analize s više varijabli i metodom genetskog programiranja, određene su funkcije koje povezuju tehničke karakteristike vozila i vjerojatnosti pojave određene vrste nedostataka kod redovnoga tehničkog pregleda. Tako dobivenim funkcijama, određene su karakteristične vjerojatnosti pojave nedostataka za svaku pojedinačnu STP, koje se statistički uspoređuju sa stvarnim karakterističnim postocima pojave nedostataka u pripadajućim STP. Temeljem rezultata usporedbe tako dobivenih vjerojatnosti pojave nedostataka pojedinačnih STP s njihovim stvarnim rezultatima, donosi se odluka kojoj STP treba posvetiti više pozornosti u smislu obuke i nadzora.

Abstract

The thesis describes research conducted in order to find an adequate method of applying technical specifications of vehicles and the results of periodical inspection of such vehicles for the assessment of the quality of operation of periodical technical inspection stations (PTI stations). Functions which correlate technical specifications of vehicles with the probability of detecting certain groups of defects during periodical vehicle inspection were determined by using multiple logistic regression analysis and genetic programming. These functions were then used to establish characteristic probabilities of detecting defects on vehicles for every single PTI station. The results of a statistical comparison of the above mentioned characteristic probabilities for PTI stations with the stations’ actual results are used as a basis for deciding which PTI stations require extra supervision or additional training.
