Abstract (Croatian)

Provedena je numerička analiza oštećenja i popuštanja sendvič konstrukcije do kojih dolazi pri savijanju. Vanjski slojevi sendvič konstrukcije napravljeni su od ugljik/epoksi materijala, a jezgra od aluminija. Modeliranje sendvič konstrukcije korištena su dva pristupa - homogenizirani i saćasti. U saćastom pristupu u obzir se uzela detaljna geometrija jezgre. Za homogenizirani model koristila su se ekvivalentna elastična svojstva izračunata prema dostupnoj literaturi. Rezultati homogeniziranog i saćastog modela su međusobno uspoređeni te su uspoređeni s eksperimentalnim rezultatima dobivenim prilikom testa savijanja u tri točke iz literature \cite{ClanakValidacija}. Popuštanje vanjskih slojeva konstrukcije analizirano je korištenjem Hashinovog kriterija popuštanja dok je popuštanje jezgre analizirano usporedbom naprezanja s granicom elastičnosti.

Abstract

Numerical analysis of damage in sandwich structures under bending load was performed in this work. Sandwich structure was made of carbon/epoxy facesheets and aluminum honeycomb core. Two approaches for core modelling were used in this work - homogenized approach and honeycomb approach. Equivalent elastic properties of the core were determined according to given literature. Results of both models were compared. Also, results of each model were compared to experimental results that have been aquired during three point bending test. Facesheet damage and failure were modeled using Hashin criterion while core damage and failure was assessed using the critical value of equivalent plastic strain.
